[18] Date is from old family bible usually described as Henry's but probably Jesse Richardson Wikle's. Note alternate and perhaps preferable date of 23 October 1794 from baptismal record.A family tradition pointed to Lancaster County. Children through Jacob appear in the baptismal records of Christ Lutheran Church in York, but later ones do not and MIchael, Heinrich and SUsanna were baptized, and may have been born in Rockingham Co., VA
Presumably children born after about 1789 were born in NC. But Henry clearly was baptized
