[573] Not certain but seems highly likely he is the William F. Dunn who married Martha Caroline Page, sister of his brother John R. Dunn's wife Sarah Jane. Guy McKinney reported that "two of grandfather's uncles" married sisters of Trissie Ann Page. This William is shown with John Dunn's family in the 1850 Polk Co TN census, and with the younger John Dunn (identity not clear) in the 1860 Gilmer Co GA census. It is not certain that he is a son of John and Elizabeth Kell Dunn, but the McKinney reference suggests it. He does not seem to appear after about 1860 and may have died in the war.
[572] Assuming Martha Caroline was the Caroline Page who married C.M. Coffey in 1870, Dunn must have died in the 1860s. Possibly he is father of John W. Dunn, though the latter appears in Phinehas Dunn's household in 1880 census. Possible that William F. died in the Civil War. Argument that he is a son of John Dunn based on 1) his appearing with family in census and 2) statement that "two of grandfather's brothers married grandmother's sisters", statement by Guy McKinney. This wold mean three Dunns married three Pages. In fact John R. Dunn was uncle of J.H. Dunn but these two plus William F. married Page sisters.
